Brittany Kerfoot received a BA in English and an MFA in Creative Writing from George Mason University. Currently, she works a multitude of jobs: Staff Writer & Curator for Eventbrite DC, writing and literature instructor for Politics and Prose Bookstore, and content and marketing director for a PBS television show.

Her nonfiction work has been featured in Brit + Co, Thrillist, Headspace, The Establishment, and The Fix, among others. Her fiction and poetry have appeared in various online and print literary journals. She is at work on her first novel.

Brittany lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband and their six rescue pets. She has a passion for social justice, animal rights, books, and home design. When she's not writing, you can find her in the middle of a reality TV binge, planning her next overseas adventure, or on a long walk with her dogs around the city.
